Job Description

    Job TitleAutomation Lead Location: Chennai (Work from Office)Experience: 16-19 yearsTechnical Skills - Primary:Playwright Mobile AutomationPOSTMANSaucelabsJavaSeleniumTechnical Skills - Secondary (Nice to Have, Not Mandatory):Experience with Mainframe Automation (preferred)Roles & Responsibilities:Tool Integration: Lead the integration of various automation tools such as JIRA, Perfecto, Saucelabs, etc., into the existing automation framework.Automation Workflow: Define end-to-end automation workflows for all application services, overseeing the process from initiation to final delivery.Automation Strategy: Develop and communicate a comprehensive E2E Automation Strategy for the team.Test Type Recommendations: Identify and define the required automation testing for different business layers and recommend appropriate tools for each layer.Automation Roadmap: Establish and manage the Automation Roadmap, setting clear goals and milestones for automation initiatives.Team Skill Development: Set up the teams skills framework, ensuring the right tools and coverage are in place for successful automation implementation.CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to support automation efforts and streamline the development cycle.Productivity Improvements: Define and drive Year-over-Year (Y2Y) productivity improvements, continuously enhancing test automation processes.Execution Time Reduction: Recommend and implement strategies to optimize automation processes and reduce execution time.Test Estimation: Improve test estimation efforts, enhancing accuracy and efficiency.Best Practices: Promote and enforce automation best practices across the team to ensure high-quality and efficient test execution.Solution Approach: Provide actionable solutions and strategies for any given problem statement in the automation process.Soft Skills:Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential as this is an onsite role.Client Interaction: Ability to work closely with client stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.Domain Knowledge: Understanding of the Insurance domain is preferred.Requirement Review & Estimation: Skilled in reviewing requirements and providing accurate work effort estimations.
