Job Description

    As an Assistant Vice President (AVP) in the Barclays BASEL 4 RWA Build team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining various risk reports, including credit, market, operational, and liquidity risk reports, as well as regulatory reports. Your role will involve extracting risk data from internal systems, risk models, and external market data feeds, analyzing this data to identify trends, patterns, and outliers, and assessing the impact of risk exposures. You will also be monitoring key risk indicators and metrics to identify emerging risks and track the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and implementation of risk reporting improvements and automation initiatives.In this role, you will be expected to consult on complex issues, provide advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues, and identify ways to mitigate risk by developing new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda. You will take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls related to your work, collaborating with other areas of the organization to align with business activity and strategy.Furthermore, you will engage in complex analysis of data from multiple internal and external sources to creatively and effectively solve problems.
