Job Description

On-going Forecast Management to Maintain forecast throughout year (additions/ removals/updates) in line with clients changing/revised requirements for large scale changes and BAU updatesBusiness/Applications Requirements GatheringCollecting both Non-Functional and Functional requirements from the client Technical Design/Solution(s)Defining and proposing technical solutions to meet the needs of the business requirements, including providing L0 Green and Blue $ costsTechnical Design/Solution(s) signoffCollecting approval for proposed technical solutions and L0 costs from all stakeholdersDelivery Initiation/Engagement o Ensuring approved technical solution is passed to the appropriate CTI delivery teamEnsuring Technical Approval on Representation of technical design and its validity required to obtain approval during workflow processIdentify Opportunities to Optimize Infrastructure to Identify and propose opportunities to optimize cost, risk or performance based on a thorough understanding of the estate and available technical solutionsAgree Execution of Optimization Activities to Develop, discuss, and agree infrastructure optimization efforts with the client - Agreed activities/intentions to be added to clients AO planCommunication Templates / Models / Branding on The definition and creation of our communication and engagement methods (e.g. templates for emails, solution designs, presentations), the processes which support them and standards that each must adhere toTooling for Leveraging and driving requirements into financial teams for cost models and rates used for forecastingFinancial Baselines and Rates in Defining the financial cost models and rates (L0 Green and blue) to be used for forecasting and solution processes and baselinesRequires input from wider CTI teams with proper engagement & colloborationDefine Infrastructure Standards for each Business to Define the technology infrastructure strategy for each client in line with application development strategyThis includes selecting the specific subset of certified products to be used, and ensuring partner teams within CTI & CATE certify and can support infrastructure technologies required by clientsSkills:Experience of hardware design and estate management within a large data center environment Extensive experience in system design process Experience of managing a customer support team in a time-critical environment Experience of a financial services environment Experience of working in a heavily controls-focused environment Strong understanding of architectural concepts and design Knowledge in latest cloud technologies and architecture is an must Knowledge of AIX, Linux, Windows and Solaris environments Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase environments Knowledge of Middleware products such as MQ-Series, Tibco EMS, WebSphere and WebLogic Knowledge of Enterprise, SAN and NAS, storage products Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking Knowledge of virtualization products such as VMware Knowledge of office automation products Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc. Knowledge of 3-tier application architecture Knowledge of industry standard server benchmarks and other add-on hardware products Significant experience in multiple core Infrastructure technologies, allowing for broad understanding across groups of technology Demonstrated influencing skills to drive technology change across both client and CTI based groups Basic business product knowledge across supported business line(s) to a level suitable to understand the use case for all applications and infrastructure technologies deployed Strong problem solving skills, to be able to drive technical solutions quickly to conclusion when meeting time sensitive challenges or opportunitiesQualification:Minimum Qualification is Degree or equivalent with at least 10-12 year of experience on the above,
