Job Description

    Position Location : AWS Specialist : Chennai/BangaloreWe are seeking an experienced Cloud Specialist with a strong AWS infrastructure background to design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions.The ideal candidate will have 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience working with AWS core infrastructure services and will play a key role in delivering high-availability solutions for our organization.Key Responsibilities Architect and implement AWS cloud infrastructure using services like EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM, Lambda, and more. Automate infrastructure deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.Monitor and optimize performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency of AWS resources across multiple environments. Establish and enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM policy management, encryption, and compliance requirements.Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and implement solutions to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.Collaborate with DevOps, cybersecurity, and product development teams to align cloud solutions with organizational objectives. Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and maintain efficient operations. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building cloud capabilities within the team.Stay up-to-date with AWS advancements and recommend improvements for existing cloud architectures.Required Skills and Experience 6 to 10 years experience in cloud engineering, with significant focus on AWS-based infrastructure. Deep knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM, Lambda, etc.) and cloud architecture best practices. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and orchestration tasks. Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus).Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, load balancing, and security principles in AWS environments.Demonstrated expertise in cost control/optimization of AWS infrastructure. Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS/Kubernetes) is an advantage.Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) preferred but not mandatory.Key Attributes Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication skills; able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to keep pace with new technologies.Sample Day-to-Day Activities Deploy and maintain high-availability AWS infrastructure. Conduct security assessments and implement controls. Automate provisioning and scaling of resources. Review and optimize cloud expenditure. Provide technical guidance for ongoing projects.
