Job Description

  • Develop highly scalable services to process millions of requests per day and solve complex software systems problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technology.
  • Gain exposure to various technologies used in Retail and E-commerce platforms.
  • Work with the development team and product managers to carry out various problem solving
  • Drive projects of high visibility across the organization.
  • Supporting of applications and systems within the Club Operations Space (Receiving, Claims, OYI, Receipt Check, My Club, Sams Garage, FST, Quick Pick)
Qualifications & Skill
  • Minimum of 9 -12 years of software development experience (with a concentration in data centric initiatives), with demonstrated expertise in leveraging standard development best practice methodologies
  • Expertise in Java, Object Oriented Programming, Design Patterns
  • Hands-on experience in Java, Springboot, SQL, Azure
  • Experience in coding and implementing scalable solutions in a large-scale distributed systems.
  • Preferably in the Fulfilment systems in the ecommerce/Retail systems/manufacturing systems.
  • Extensive hands-on experience building services using these technologies (Java, Spring, Hibernate)
  • In depth knowledge of RDBMS technologies (MS-SQL, Informix, Postgresql)
  • Experience in building SOA based micro services solutions
  • Good expertise in REST, Messaging (KAFKA, RABBITMQ, etc.), stream processing (SPARK, STORM
  • etc.), Large storage Systems (RDBMS, NO SQL Stores like Cassandra, HBase, REDIS, etc.)
  • Solid Experience in developing scalable Event driven applications.
  • Good knowledge of any Business process workflow engines and related
  • Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE technologies and Java Application Server
  • Strong hands on experience in implementing REST APIs.
  • Strong understanding of OOPS concepts, Data Structures & Design Patterns
  • Proficiency in GIT and other versioning tools
  • Strong DB experience and interacts with SQL & No-SQL databases.
  • Experience in Agile Development environment
  • Good working knowledge of Continuous Integration (DevOps) and relevant tools such as Jenkins)
