We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time i.e., will have a start and end date.Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.Introduction: Support the Transformation Lead and engage with Wholesale Client Onboarding and Financial Crime Operations Transaction Cycle to improve effectiveness and achieve best in class performance Focus will be required to implement a range of automation (from robotics to artificial intelligence/machine learning), drive analytical work to reduce false positives, deliver on our location strategy and simplify processes through re-engineering Design target operating model (including but not limited to organizational design) to enable WCOB and GFCO to become true firm-wide utilities which mirror the client lifecycle and provide best in class customer service experience Work closely with our Compliance partners to ensure process improvement efforts are aligned with regulatory expectations Partner with our Controls organization to ensure process improvement design includes robust controls Support with culture change required to move our colleagues towards a continuous improvement mind-set. This includes oversight of various idea generation tools, whereby colleagues are encouraged to identify opportunities for continuous improvement projects and follow through to deliveryWhat will you be doing Key accountability from this role is as follows: Process improvement (60%) Project management (20%) Stakeholder management (20%)Stakeholder Management and Leadership Work very closely with multiple stakeholders (solution architects, project team, technical development team and Operations leadership team) to successfully deliver automation/ Lean/ Productivity solutions. Responsible for project stakeholder communication and management before and during the implementation Build working relationships with senior management, project team and stakeholders and secure their support to achieve project goals Lead and facilitate project meetings and workshops, engaging stakeholders, subject matter experts and attendees at all levels Responsible for the collation of weekly project progress reports for regular meetingsDecision-making and Problem Solving Successfully carry out Operational Re-engineering projects and process reviews as required by Global, Regional or in-country Operations Identify robotic candidates and assist in on ground deployment Successfully embed a continuous improvement mind-set in the aligned business units through Lean and design thinking coaching and mentoring and driving the Lean DNA. Deploy Active operations management (AoMi) e2e including scoping processes, standardization and activity baselining, planning and forecasting and associated reporting. Prepare businesses from an operational readiness stand-point during introduction of new products and services Provide subject matter expertise on key aspects of managing operations such as processes, people, systems, risk and controls, MI, customer experience, costs etc.What we re looking for: The role requires the candidate to be an expert in Lean, Analytics and a practicing Six Sigma Black Belt; Minimum process re-engineering / transformation related experience of 10 years Understanding of Banking processes Expertise in value Stream Mapping, identifying process wastes, robotic candidates and end to end stakeholder and project management. Experience in deployment of Active operations management (AoMi) Hands on experience in delivering Robotics process automation projects Proficiency in IBM Blueworks or another mainstream process mapping tool Understanding and experience of managing operational risks and controls Understanding of and exposure to project management disciplines and techniques Experience of working with large data sets, data analytics and visualisation.Skills that will help you in the role: Exposure of various automation tools like Blue Prism, UI path, Appian, Appzillon etc. and should be adept in carrying out discovery exercises independentlyWhere will you be working ChennaiBe More at BarclaysAt Barclays, each day is about being more as a professional, and as a person.
