Job Description

The HR Services center of excellence s aspiration is to enable HR services at scale, simplify processes and transactions, improve data quality and consistency, and help deliver a great employee experience across Microsoft. The Business Administrator role is a key one within the team that requires ability to work independently, maintain data integrity, be flexible and able to adopt to changing direction in rapid response to a fluctuating work environment and prioritize among multiple projects with a dynamically changing workload.The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills combined with a positive attitude, strong initiative, and high energy. The candidate should be able to maintain focus persona under pressure, professional interactions with others, and be able to establish credibility with all internal and external contacts.The Business Administrator will provide administrative support to the Sr. Service Centre leader and the entire onsite HR Services team. Responsibilities will include, but will not limited to:

  • Calendar management for the Sr. Service Centre leader (day to day, fiscal year planning, and time management)
  • International and domestic travel & expense management
  • Onboarding program coordination
  • Asset management
  • Mandatory trainings completion tracking
  • Notes taking, following-up on actions
  • Maintaining of team aliases and security groups
  • Assisting in tracking Oprational expenditures and Headcount
  • Office coordination in partnership with Facilities
  • Purchase order management and invoicing
  • Event planning for 100+ attendees with high focus on inclusion
  • Strong collaboration and knowledge sharing across the Business Administrator network
  • Ad hoc project coordination

  • 3+ years of relevant administrative and project management experience supporting a senior leader in a fast-paced environment required
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resource Management or Customer Service preferred
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Proficiency in internal Microsoft tools, such as Headtrax, MyOrder, MSS, etc. would be an advantage
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential and sensitive information
  • Great command of English (both verbal & written)
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal& written)
  • Display strong attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple priorities and/or projects
  • Ability to work effectively alone as well as in a team and willingness to help others
