Job Title: Business Analyst Job Location: MalaysiaRole Description We are seeking a business analyst as part of the domain competency team. The successful candidate will interact with the key stakeholders from the client, operations and other teams for technology delivery of application activities & new projects. The candidate will also interact with development Project Manager, the development, testing, and production support teams He/she requires exceptional communication skills across both technology and the business and will have a high degree of visibility. The ideal candidate will be dependable and resourceful software professional who can comfortably work in a large development team in a globally distributed, dynamic work environment that fosters diversity, teamwork and collaboration. The ability to work in high-pressured environment is essential Understand customer requirements and translate into technical deliverables across a wide array of products and technologies. Analyze and understand the Trade Finance offerings Create business model and logical data models for Trade Finance products Interface with and collaborate with the technology and architect team Partner with the business and technical teams and create and maintain the Functional design for the various modules in the platform Identify, create and maintain Functional Requirements, User Interface requirements and Service interface requirements per the processes established in the organization Document and maintain Use Cases, Functional Design, and System Specification Follow the SDLC process established in the organization and create and maintain all relevant requirements artefacts Support development, QC and UAT teams of the various projects Act as subject matter expert on the various domainsQualifications A Bachelor of Science in an engineering or computer science field is preferred 8+ years of experience as a business analyst in a software development teamKnowledge/Experience Minimum 8-10 year of experienceTechnical / Functional Proficiency Mandatory: Excellent knowledge in Trade Finance Letters of credit, Bank Guarantees, Foreign Bills, Remittances, SWIFT, Forward Contracts, Pre Shipment Loan, Post Shipment Loan, Invoice Discounting, Factoring etc. Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task Experience in Financial industry ie Payment, Receivables, Wholesale Banking etc Demonstrated sense of responsibility and capability to deliver quickly Experience in working on a large-scale global project Relationship builder and team player Must have extensive experience in Microsoft tools, ie, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint Experience with Agile/Jira, SDLC methodologies and structured systems analysis and design Excellent documentation skills in preparing business requirement, functional specs/design, use case and functional flow documentsLeadership Skills Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task Good analytical and business skills Demonstrated sense of responsibility and capability to deliver quickly Excellent communication skills Clearly articulating and documenting technical and functional specifications is a key requirement Proactive problem-solver Relationship builder and team player Negotiation, difficult conversation management and prioritization skills Flexibility to handle multiple complex projects and changing priorities Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Key Skills: Job Title: Business Analyst Job Location: MalaysiaRole Description We are seeking a business analyst as part of the domain competency team.
