Flatirons Solutions, Inc. is looking to fill a Business Analyst role for our Engineering Operations Organization in Chennai, India. Join us as we apply world-class software engineering practices to solve complex Content Lifecycle Management (CLM) problems in some of the most interesting problem spaces in industry today. Our solutions are used in a wide range of functions within organizations in the aerospace and aviation industry, including: technical engineering change order management, documentation authoring and publishing, flight operations manuals, data archiving, and other workflow, documentation and maintenance products. As a BA, you will: Consult with customers and serve as a liaison between the technical teams, customer and Flatirons stakeholders, and end users Work alongside Flatirons development and customer support teams to triage, reproduce, define requirements, and certify updates for customer-reported product issues and enhancement requests. Analyze data from the OEM and ensure the data does not violate the Document Type Definition Create User Stories and Acceptance Criteria Work with Quality Team in making them understand the Acceptance Criteria Create Business Requirement Document Use your understanding of our products and customer business practices & requirements to prepare customized training materials Facilitate and give product demos to customers and Flatirons technical teams We d like to talk to you if you have: Experience working in the aviation or aerospace manufacturing industry or familiarity with ATA iSpec 2200 and S1000D data specifications strongly preferred 3+ years of BA and training experience in software development consulting services, with a focus on large scale enterprise systems Experience in Aerospace Technical Publication Experience working with AMM, EM, CMM, WDM for multiple OEMs Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving, interpersonal, and time management skills Experience writing customer facing documentation and creating effective training materials Ability to work independently, think on your feet with the customer, and prioritize tasks Agile Scrum methodology experience Strong familiarity with as many of the following as possible: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Rally/ CA Agile Central, Subversion, GIT, Structured Markup and Authoring At Flatirons Solutions, we have a very important job.
