Job Description

    Job Title: Business Development ManagerLocation: i2Global School, Chennai -PerungudiONLY FEMALEJob Summary:The Business Development Manager at i2Global School is responsible for identifying growth opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, driving enrolment, and promoting the schools unique offerings to prospective parents and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of marketing, sales, and relationship-building skills to enhance the schools visibility and grow its presence in the community. This role requires a proactive and creative individual who can align with the mission and values of i2Global School and contribute to its long-term success.Key Responsibilities:1. Market Research & Strategy Development Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and potential target markets. Develop and implement strategic business plans focused on increasing student enrolment and expanding the schools reach. Identify and tap into new markets and demographic groups aligned with i2Globals offerings.2. Brand Positioning & Promotion Promote i2Global Schools unique programs, such as the 3A approach (Assess, Analyze, Accelerate), to differentiate the school in the market. Collaborate with the marketing team to design, execute, and analyze effective promotional campaigns (events, online content, local outreach). Organize and represent the school at community events, fairs, and networking opportunities to raise awareness and build school brand presence.3. Partnership & Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local businesses, community organizations, and educational influencers. Develop and manage partnerships with organizations that align with i2Globals mission, such as after-school programs and other educational providers. Collaborate with internal teams, including admissions, marketing, and academic staff, to ensure a cohesive approach to development efforts.4. Sales & Enrollment Enrollment Target: Achieve an annual enrollment increase of 30-35% new students. Revenue Target: Achieve revenue targets set by the management. Guide prospective families through the enrolment process with a goal of converting 60% of leads to enrolments. Actively follow up on leads and maintain a lead conversion rate of 20-25% from all outreach efforts.5. Event Planning & Execution Organize open houses, school tours, and orientation sessions for prospective students and families. Support community outreach programs that reinforce i2Globals commitment to education and community engagement, including events like marathons, contests, or cultural showcases.6. Reporting & Analysis Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics related to student enrollment, community engagement, and partnership success. Present findings and make data-driven recommendations to improve outreach efforts and maximize return on investment.Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus. Experience: 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within the education industry or related sectors. Skills:o Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with parents and community stakeholders.o Strategic thinking and market analysis abilities.o Knowledge of the local education landscape and community networking.o Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office Suite, and online marketing tools. Attributes: Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with a strong commitment to i2Global Schools mission.Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with school management systems and digital marketing. Previous experience in education sales, admissions, or educational program promotion. Knowledge of the IGCSE curriculum and various educational methodologies.Compensation & Benefits: CTC 4 LPA to 7 LPA
