Job Description

Greetings to all from Pharma Placements Inc.We have been retained by a quality driven, full service Contract Research Organization (CRO) that provides a broad range of bio research services to global pharmaceutical, biotechnology, nutraceutical and cosmetic industries to hire a Business Development Manager for clinical research services specialised in bioavailability and bioequivalence testing to global pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

  • To identify potential clients for targeted business development activities, generating leads through different sources such as internet, trade exhibition, and professional network websites.
  • Identifying and prioritizing warm prospective clients from a pool of generated leads from various sources.
  • Understanding the needs of clients, conduct client meetings and follow up with potential clients to customize their business proposals.
  • Working closely with management and team members to define business development and marketing strategy.
  • Represent company in international and national conferences.
  • Must have a strong network in Clinical Research & Bio-Technology industries or be able to develop network quickly. Understand Market dynamics.
  • Develop knowledge of national & international markets.
  • Conduct appropriate research about target markets.
  • Collaborate with project management to ensure product development is executed on-time and as agreed.
  • Execute all the marketing activities planned in co-ordination with the team.
  • Research industry trends through internet and update the business and management teams through newsletters and daily mailers.
Qualification:
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Pharmacy / Bio-Technology / Life Science or related field and MBA.
  • Experience: 4 to 10 years in Business Development.
  • Preference:
  • Travel nationally and internationally.
  • Specific knowledge of bioavailability and bioequivalence testing market, competitor landscape and future prognoses based on portfolio. Work Location: Selaiyur, Chennai.
