*CURRENT EMPLOYEES : Please click here to be redirected to the internal career site.Job DescriptionThe Business Systems Analyst -IT will be based in Chennai here.Responsible for planning, conducting and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.To provide technical assistance identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures which are cost effective and meet user requirements. Create specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Direct translations of functions and study system capabilities. May provide consulting activities and prepare technical reports to end users on proposed systems area.We are looking for someone who demonstrates:

Here is a glimpse of what you will do:Requirements Gathering
  • Functional requirements
    • Process full/fill business requirements
    • Known also as system requirements
    • Use cases
    • Test cases
Technical Design
  • Translate requirements to technical detail level
    • Constant communication with development teams
    • Improves systems by studying current practices and identifying problems
    • Studying system capabilities
    • Business requirements translation
    • System testing & documentation
Implementation
  • Coordinate application deployments
  • Writing and updating application procedures
  • End user training
  • Support activities
Metrics
  • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
  • Prepare progress reports
  • Constant communication with project management teams
Here is some of what you will need (required):
  • Bachelor s degree and 3-5 years related experience is expected.
  • Strong knowledge on Enterprise Resource planning (ERP) processes Logistics / Finance. Infor BaaN desired.
  • Knowledge on FTP transactions.
  • Background of IT systems desired.
Here are a few of our preferred experiences:
  • Working on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors.
  • Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Use professional concepts, company policies and procedures to solve a variety of problems.
  • Demonstrated experience in IT solutions projects.
