Job Description

    1. Business Finance:1. Scrutiny and Analysis of all Major/Abnormal Expenses with variance analysis Vs Budget/Forecast/LastMonth Actual. Monthly provisions, Inventory valuation, Group Company reconciliation - CIS Reporting,Review of Financial books.2. Timely and accurate management reports, Involvement in preparation of annual budgets, Undertakeand drive Cost Control projects through Analytics and deployment of digital tools.3. Timely and accurate monthly SIF reporting.4. Preparation and regular updation of Policies and Standard Operating Procedures, Simplification andAutomation projects.2. Plant Finance :1. Efficient support for Management Accounts and assisting in cost control.2. Finalizing budget P&L with all the relevant assumptions and analysis, Management reporting.3. Contribution / Profitability and Variance analysis, Internal controls, improvements in processes, Priceand scheme management.4. Profitability analysis & reports for products / region / channel & customers, Marketing spend budgetingand tracking variances.3. Internal Audit :1. Planning and Performing Internal Audits for various businesses in the Saint Gobain group. Processreviews and CSAR Compliance Statement Audit Review) at plant site / companies and ensure timelyexecution, Prepare audit reports2. Identify areas of improvement and suggest measures to strengthen the control systems.3. Compliance of CSG Audit Methodology4. Financial Accounting:1. Ensure proper general ledger accounting, reporting, audit, finalization, reconciliation and analysis for SGBusinesses.2. Compliance with respect to direct and indirect taxation and reconciliation3. Improvement projects for standardizing / simplifying/automation of GL activities.
