The Hub Engineering Module is a part of Aerodynamics & Mechanical and has sites in both Denmark, India and Portugal. The module is fully responsible for the competences, design, specification and documentation of the hydraulic blade pitching function in the wind turbine. This includes design and analysis from the early concept study for new turbines to the final specification for production. Additionally, we are also looking ahead to verify new technologies such that these can be part of future turbine project. The HUB team is also providing technologies in the areas of blade bearings and hub design and service. You will join a very international team, that is located both in Denmark and Porto. • Implement and supervise the ECM process (Engineering change management)
• Develop 3D-CAD design/models, 2D drawings and bill of materials based on design specifications
• Define GPS/GD&T on drawings reflecting manufacturing standards
• Ensure cost-efficient design and usage of standard parts as well as manufacturing standards
• Embed relevant design and production knowledge into CAD by defining master models (parametrical models) and design guidelines/ checklists
• Standardization
• Close collaboration with stakeholders across the value chain on engineering the best solutions to achieve the right quality and cost savings
• Design with safety and reliability in focus

Qualifications

• M.Sc or B.Sc within Mechanical Engineering in the field of machine components, hydraulic or similar
• Solid knowledge on Hydraulic Hoses, Pipe Routings, and fittings selections as per ISO standard
• Good understanding of hydraulic schematics and functions of various hydraulic components
• Good knowledge in various wind turbine components, Sheetmetal design, GD&T
• Validating the supplier models with respect to CAD interface and 3D design Guidelines
• Experience with Large assemblies in Creo parametric tool (4.0 - 7.0), PDMLink
• Engineering drawing: knowledge of international engineering design and drawing standards (Eurocodes, European standards, DNVGL)
• System Engineering knowledge: Ability to identify impacts from/to other systems
• System interface design & stakeholder management
• Ensure 3D/2D CAD quality (GPS, NDT, CTQ)
