Roles and responsibilities Responsibilities:Resources hired will be responsible for building & maintaining the applications built using Cassandra. Activities includesupporting the data load, handling performance issues, tuning, data modelling.Support the design and build of applications using Cassandra databaseImplement modules that are efficient and performance optimizedIdentify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problemsGood experience in Java API development with Cassandra as backend for atleast 2 yearsRequired Candidate profileJob Requirements: Skill set required:Specialist- 3-10 years of experience in application development using Java or Python based technologies.- Knowledge on OPEN SOURCE Cassandra and experience to solve issues related to that for over 2 years - Primary Skill Cassandra - Data modelling, performance tuning, Oracle & Java- Working knowledge of the full SW development lifecycle- Good knowledge and experience with Unit, performance and integration testing.- Experience in solving Cassandra node related issues and proficient with NODETOOL commands- Experience is solving Cassandra timeout issues and performance tuning/ consistency for application- Preferred Cassandra certified developer,
