Roles and ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the board and CEO in setting strategic financial direction andpositioning to ensure company s success Making crucial choices about investment, divestitures, and the optimization ofdistinct product and geographic segments Owning financial responsibilities including financial reporting, budgetarymanagement and presentation to the Management, different board Committees andto the Board of Directors Putting in place a robust risk management system in place at enterprise level Develop appropriate key performance indicators to monitor and drive the financialperformance of the company and various business units at area level by effective useof various business intelligence tools and analytics. Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and take steps to enhance, wherenecessary, the internal control systems within the company. Oversee and monitor effective tax strategies and compliance for the company. Monitor cash flows to ensure healthy liquidity as well as long-term sustainability ofthe business Coordinate the preparation of the Corporations financial statements andmanagement discussion and analysis (annual and interim) Oversee the mandate and the work of the internal auditor of the company. Coordinate the annual audit with the Corporations external auditors. Attend meetings of the Board and its Committees and present the financialinformation necessary or relevant to the Board or such Committee for discharging itsduties; as applicable. Monitoring and review finance and treasury policies, procedures and practices inline with international accounting standards, legal requirements & good industrypractice. Providing leadership to all members of the finance department; fostering a culture ofteam spirit, co-operation and continuous self-development within the department. Serving as a pivotal member of the senior management team responsible for theformulation of the overall organizational strategy and short term / long term businessplans for all business lines Participate in various recognized forums to create visibility about the organizationand undertake frequent travel to meet up with the field teams,
