Job Description

Essential Job Duties:

    When a clinical assessment specialist meets a patient, he or she must be able to determine the patients symptoms, the patients condition and the patients background. A clinical assessment specialist must be able to use various research gathering tools such as interviews and questionnaires. At the same time, the nurse should be able to look for verbal and physical clues. Emotional and psychological facts are of equal importance when it comes to gathering data for a patient. Therefore a clinical assessment specialist should be able to gather mental and psychological information as well. Basic patient vitals, pulse, breathing and medical information such as allergies etc. must be collected throughout the patients stay. The clinical assessment specialist should assess the Work environment of the client to know the feasibility of care delivery. Devise an appropriate , holistic care plan based on the client condition, needs and problems To ensure up to date current medication of the client are filled A clinical assessment specialist must also be able to interpret patient information as it changes over the course of time. This information must also be shared with lead physicians. A clinical assessment specialist must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills as they will be in constant contact with the patient and family members. Work together in a team and maintain good interpersonal relationship. Perform any other duties as assigned by the management Be up to date with changes in nursing profession and be abreast of the changes. Train new joinees on clinical client assessment. Document and maintain records- pre-assessment form, work environment form, current medications and care plan. Help in achieving the targets as proposed by the management.
Requirements: Education: GNM nursing, Bsc Desirable Experience: 2-3 years of clinical experience desirable Skills: Should possess good interpersonal, communication, leadership and assessment skills ,
