Job Description

  • Provision Infrastructure as a service cloud computing for platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google
  • Data center and server installation, maintenance, monitoring in cloud/IaaS
  • Responsible for Linux server installation, maintenance, monitoring, data backup and recovery, security and administration
  • Responsible for managing networked storage
  • Disaster Recovery and Incident Response Planning
  • Installing, configuring and supporting primarily Linux and Microsoft Windows Servers on IaaS
  • Configuring / monitoring firewalls, routers, switches and other network devices
  • Installing and managing Database, Big Data or NoSQL deployments
  • Communicate with peers, managers regarding system issues participate in 24 7 on- call
  • Vendor management for IT infra, Hardware and software

Desired Candidature

  • Candidates with degrees in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related discipline
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience in AWS/any cloud environment Administration
  • Experience in network administration is required
  • 5- 7 years of relevant IT industry experience working on medium large scale technology solution delivery engagements
  • Disaster Recovery and Incident Response Planning
  • Manage working on different deployment skills sets (Big Data technologies, Back end database management, ETL interfacing)

Education and Experience

  • Any Bachelor/Master degree from a reputed institution
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant experience as Cloud Admin (AWS)
  • Ability to work an independent performer, possessing good communication and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently
