By closer collaboration with customers and partners, KONE will increase the speed of bringing new services and solutions to the market.Services and Solutions R&D (SRD) unit within KTI is responsible for developing Digital Services products such as KONE 24/7 Connected Services, Residential Flow and Partnership Ecosystem.We are now looking forCloud software programming & tech leadto lead the team of SW development experts at the KONE Services & Solutions R&D. You will work together with other software professionals to develop advanced KONE digital solutions that leverage the latest in cloud and connectivity technologies.You are a cloud development expert who is passionate about designing and implementing solutions for our IoT Platform. You are familiar with cloud and edge software development patterns and can turn the architectural plans to concrete designs. You understand and appreciate the modern software development practices. You work at your best when you are working with people and you enjoy helping others.You will lead our Agile SW development team. Your closest colleagues will be other developers, test professionals and Architect of the team. You will be part of KONE Technology and Innovation unit s IoT Platform Tribe responsible for building Core of IoT platform.Main responsibilitiesLead, mentor and grow our IoT Core Services platform engineering teamSoftware design & developmentDesign Orchestration of IoT core platform services by closely working with other engineers, leaders and domain Architects. To be successful in this role, you will havePassionate in IoT & Cloud domain.Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent.12 years of experience in software design and development, and 2 years minimum in cloud Engineering Lead role.More than 3-5 years proven experience in cloud-based software developmentExperience in working with AWS platform and its core services like IoT Core, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, Code Build, CDK, MKS, etc.Strong experience in software development using Java, TypeScript and React Understanding of Serverless design, Cloud design patterns, High availability and secure systems.Technical leadership & people skillsGood communication and stakeholder management skillsWe offerAs KONE is a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, this is a key role and a great opportunity to build the future cities through improving how people live, work and play in the cities and to help us continue innovating and making magic happen also in the future.You will be working with highly dynamic teams significantly investing time and effort on how we develop services and solutions.
