• Develop and implement comprehensive disaster recovery plans, policies, and procedures for Azure Cloud Infrastructure, ensuring business continuity in the event of system failures, cyber threats, or catastrophic events.
• Conduct risk assessments, business impact analysis, and impact assessments to identify critical systems and applications, and define recovery time objectives (RTO) and recovery point objectives (RPO).
• Design and implement Azure Site Recovery to enable replication and failover of virtual machines, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss during disaster events.
• Creation of Global IT DR calendar and its adherence. Conduct IT DR testing as per planned and agreed IT DR test calendar
• Coordinate and lead disaster recovery exercises, testing, and simulations to validate the effectiveness of recovery plans, identify areas for improvement, and ensure staff readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, operations, and business units, to gather requirements, assess dependencies, and prioritize recovery efforts.
• Establish and maintain documentation, including runbooks, procedures, and recovery guides, to facilitate quick and efficient recovery processes.
• Monitor the health, performance, and capacity of disaster recovery systems, conduct regular audits, and implement necessary improvements to enhance overall resilience.
• Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in disaster recovery and Azure Cloud Infrastructure, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance and training to technical teams on disaster recovery principles, methodologies, and best practices, ensuring a high level of preparedness across the organization.
• Collaborate with vendors and external partners to ensure alignment of disaster recovery solutions with industry standards and compliance requirements.
# Experience :
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field.
• Overall, 10-15 years of Experience in Technology Infrastructure functions primarily managing all Cloud Platforms (particularly Azure), Data center Platforms, Network and Storage infrastructure
• Must have 5-7 years experience in designing, executing, and supporting large scale public cloud solutions in Azure for any large multinational corporation at Global or Regional level.
• Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
• Strong ability to manage DR for multiple countries in parallel
• Strong experience in managing and providing leadership to internal and outsourced team size
• Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends.
• Experience as a team lead
• Strong Experience with designing Cloud Infrastructure in Microsoft Azure environment primarily as well as in AWS areas
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
• Knowledge of all components of a technical architecture especially Azure Site Recovery
• Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes
• Strong understanding of Cloud Engineering (Infrastructure and Applications)
• Architecture, network architecture and application development methodologies
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners.

• Strong interest and curiosity in leveraging the latest in tech to solve customer problems.
• Experience in communicating with end users, technical & business teams to collect requirements, describe product features, and technical designs.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
