Job Description

    Location: Remote | Type: Contract (June 2026 onwards)Hours: 20 hrs/week (flexible; can extend to 40 hrs)OverviewWe are looking for professionals to support K12 content development through copyediting and creation of student materials, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and engaging educational content.Key Responsibilities
    • Edit content for grammar, clarity, consistency, and style guide adherence
    • Ensure overall quality and accuracy of instructional materials
    • Create supplemental materials such as flashcards, knowledge organizers, and presentations using templates
    • Collaborate with internal teams to meet content standards and timelines
    Requirements
    • 3-5 years of experience in copyediting and/or educational content writing
    • Strong command of English (written & verbal)
    • Experience in K-12 or educational publishing preferred
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Google Docs, PowerPoint/Slides
    • Basic familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT)
    Additional Notes
    • Candidates must pass a copyediting assessment
    • Alt-text review/creation is out of scope
    • Flexible work hours; no strict EST overlap required
