Job description : Job Title : Corporate Communications Specialist Job Location : Chennai Job Summary: Corporate Communications Specialist has to create, implement and oversee communications programs, be it internal or external, that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products. Corporate Communications Specialist perform a variety of tasks, such as the creation and development of print and online advertising, email marketing, web site management and content development, press releases, bylined articles, white papers, corporate videos and marketing collateral, RFP review and development, marketing budget development and cost tracking. Aid in the preparation of presentations and/or speeches geared toward employees. Primary responsibilities: Create company literature and other forms of communication. Communications manager has to create, implement and oversee communications programs, be it internal or external, that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products. Create marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic. Work with PR agencies/ advertisers for timely and useable ad submissions, Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications. Design and launch marketing communications campaigns , email marketing campaigns along with Business. Recommend, implement and maintain website design, content and operation. Reputation Management Work with manager and business units to determine event budget and manage expenses to that budget. Represent organisation at various forums, conferences etc Identify various industry forums , conferences, exhibitions, networking events, trade shows for organisational leaders and other functions to participate, network and promote business Promote employer branding within and outside and maintain positive image of company. Promote products and services through public relations initiatives. Create thought leadership materials. Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, case studies, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speaking proposals. Identify, develop and execute communications strategy for key media contacts and customer references. Research media coverage and industry trends. Develop fresh story ideas. Conduct extensive media outreach. Prepare briefing materials. Coordinate scheduling and logistics. Coordinate conference, trade shows, and press interviews. Manage information. Prepare agendas and conduct research. Education: Graduate + Mass Communication / PR is essential MBA marketing desirable Knowledge of IT Social Media Competencies Skills: Must be a confident communicator and presenter Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, content management, professional printing/publishing skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills Superior networking, project management, adaptability and time management skills A wide degree of creativity and latitude Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media business Self- motivated with a positive and professional approach to management MS Office Knowledge of English, Tamil Hindi is essential,
