Role: Data AnalystJob Location: ChennaiMandatory expertise in : Java & MySQL / SQL / PostGreSQLThe role involves design and development of databases to perform data analysis and generate insights for new and ongoing automation, tracking and monitoring projects. The candidate will also be pivotal in acquiring and manipulating data from existing databases in order to help define and scope automation use cases and projects. As part of the Content Enablement team, the post will help support the ongoing transition of the Content group, contributing to the stability and organisational health of the team.Essential Duties and Responsibilities :Liaise with Operations teams to fully understand data contentAnalyze and interpret complex data sets from multiple sourcesInterpret business requirements into technical requirements and execute on the deliverySupport data-driven decision making regarding automation project focus and scopeFacilitate automation project execution (build, test, deploy phases) through the development of targeted support tools and processesDevelop and document procedures and workflowsSupport Operations team management and control of automation capabilities by defining and supporting the development of quality / performance monitoring and tracking processesGenerate data info graphics, dashboards and reports to support group decision making and capability monitoringMeeting requirements within TAT and with accuracyQualifications :Aptitude to understand diverse editorial requirements and deliver desired solutionsUnderstanding of database design and data modelingDemonstrated ability to manipulate large data sets from multiple sourcesAbility to work independently, ensure business objectives are met, and be able to drive tasks to completionExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Courage to dabble with a lot of unknowns and design solutions. No fixed rules. Only guidelinesCandidate is a good problem solver, willing to explore solutions and dig into complex data sets in order.,
