Job Description

FutureWorks is currently looking for a Data input/output (I/O) technician for organizing, transferring and storing the computer files and data for the company.Ensure that all of transferring and storing of data is done securely and that files are encrypted wherever necessary.To follow company protocols to comply with safety standards.This opening is for our Chennai facility and is a full-time job., RequirementsESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide prompt and secure handling of all material, received and sent from the facility.
  • Communicate efficiently, both oral and written, with production teams, after receiving and delivering media via drive, Aspera, Signiant, FTP, etc.
  • Assist in upkeep and maintenance of network, and storage space.
  • Identifying discrepancies, and errors in data, then forwarding to Producers and Supervisors.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work under strict deadlines, and also pivot for last minute changes.
  • Excel, Word, Shotgun, etc.
  • Comfortable in an office working environment, including remote work from home.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
  • Comfortable working knowledge of Windows and Linux OS.
  • Have excellent organizational skills, and an acute attention to detail.
  • Having knowledge of installing operating system and application softwares
  • Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
  • Ready to work on shift basis.
