Job Description

    As an Analyst2 (C10) in Control Automation Development at CITI, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to automating controls and enhancing our ability to prevent issues. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders such as Business, Internal Audit, Internal Citi Risk and Control, and Technology to automate manual controls through data-driven capabilities. By leveraging industry-standard tools and techniques, you will identify control gaps, policy breaches, and provide data evidence for audit completion.In this role, your expertise in analytical skills will be crucial. You should possess intermediate knowledge in data analysis, data patterns, and be skilled in transforming data sets for both quantitative and qualitative analysis. Proficiency in data manipulation, problem-solving, and formulating analytical methodologies to identify inconsistencies is essential. You will also be responsible for devising automated techniques to reduce manual touchpoints.Your proficiency in various tools and platforms, such as SAS, SQL, Tableau, Appian, Xceptor, Python, Mainframes, and knowledge of schedulers like Autosys, will be key to your success in this role. Additionally, expertise in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and VBA is required.While not mandatory, experience in technologies like SAS on Mainframe and workflow management tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, would be advantageous. A good understanding of banking products, MCA & Audit Framework, inherent and residual risks, and finance regulations will be beneficial.Your soft skills, including effective communication, interpersonal skills, a proactive problem-solving approach, and attention to detail, are essential for collaborating effectively with the team and stakeholders. A strong team player with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving will thrive in this role.To qualify for this position, you should hold a Masters degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Applications, or Engineering from a premier institute. A Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Applications, or a related field is also acceptable. Postgraduate qualifications in computers are preferred. Additionally, you should have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Development/Production Support, specifically in identifying production failures and resolving issues involving codes in SAS & SQL environments.If you are passionate about driving data-driven transformation and automating controls to enhance operational efficiency, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to Citis mission of providing financial services that enable growth and economic progress.,
