The data management associate is one, responsible for updating databases in support of client requirements, evaluating and processing a client s data fosters, generating production work, and providing backup for client technical support.What you ll do:Develop familiarity with client-supplied data and with internally developed tools used to assess data quality and build requisite databases.Investigate & resolve quality issues and handle situations according to department processes.Design, maintain, execute and document system tests and requirement validation tests; support user acceptance testing as needed.Assist clients with understanding of data specifications and resolution of data quality concerns.Consistently deliver usable databases on time and within budget while conforming to client expectations for content and quality.Learn and perform database update process activities.For each update, execute all Data Management test cases, document results, obtain requisite sign-off, and work on resolving any failed test cases prior to proceeding with the update.Identify and resolve the data & quality issues during testing.Gain understanding of tools commercial and proprietary tools, such as TREX, DataStage, Data Probe, Advantage Suite, Data Profiler, Data Model Manager and other applications.Identify, investigate and resolve data quality issuesHow we ll help you grow:Will have access to one of the flagship products of Watson Health and will actively participate in the analytic building of one of the most extensive databases in industryThe process in itself would have a huge scope to develop analytical skills furtherAutomation and innovation is given key significance in the team & the role requires contribution to these areas through a variety of skills / technology stacks already availableCulture to learn & develop professional profile and to work in tandem with multiple teams based on business requirements will be made availableRequired Professional and Technical ExpertiseBasic technical capability, database and healthcare knowledge.Intermediate computer skills.Effective communication skill to communicate with the team and internal/external customers.Analytical skills to identify & resolve issues and raise as and when necessary to be able to handle technical / domain challengesPersonal effectiveness & self motivation to work independently and gain proficiency at work.Analytical thinking to come up with solutions to any challenge in day-to-day work / activities while analysing the pros and cons of a proposed solutionPreferred Professional and Technical ExpertiseBachelors (Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics) or comparable experienceKnowledge and Know-how on RDBMS / Other relational databases,
