    • This Data Scientist role is responsible for working with the established team to employ machine learning and statistical modeling to create and enhance data driven products
    • This Data scientist will have the opportunity to learn and grow under a Senior DS.
    • They will work with the Senior Data Scientist to analyze and extract insights from internal and external data
    • This role works with Big Data and transform complex datasets into more usable formats
    • This is an opportunity to work with a variety of data science tools and programming languages such as SAS, Python, R, SQL
    • This role may even create and present analyses to internal and external partners and clients
    • With the assistance of senior Data scientist this role will document models and write code to track and monitor models and product performance
    • Building and maintain reports utilizing SQL, Power BI and other applications.
    • This role will be remote, however the ideal candidate will be in the Nova Scotia Canadian Province .
    What you Bring:
    • Bachelors in Statistics, Decision Sciences, Applied Mathematics, Economics or Computer Science or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
    • Knowledge in machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistical modeling, data visualization, and data analysis
    • Proficient in data science tools and programming languages such as SAS, Python, R, Scala, SQL
    • Experience or knowledge of cloud-based technology
