Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Data Pipeline Development & Maintenance:
      • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow across the organization.
      • Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources and prepare it for analysis or reporting.
      • Ensure that data processing tasks are automated and optimized for performance and scalability.
    2. Data Integration & ETL:
      • Build and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, ensuring data is cleaned, transformed, and loaded into the data warehouse or databases.
      • Collaborate with other teams (e.g., data scientists, analysts) to understand data needs and provide solutions for data integration.
    3. Data Quality Assurance:
      • Conduct data validation checks and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy and quality.
      • Monitor and maintain the quality of data by addressing any discrepancies or anomalies in the data pipeline.
    4. Database Management & Data Storage:
      • Maintain and optimize databases and data storage systems (e.g., SQL databases, NoSQL, cloud storage).
      • Support and manage cloud-based data solutions (AWS, GCP, or Azure) to ensure data is stored and accessed efficiently.
    5. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
      • Collaborate with data analysts, business intelligence teams, and other stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet business requirements.
      • Provide technical support to teams working with data to ensure they have the necessary infrastructure and tools.
    6. Optimization & Automation:
      • Identify and implement ways to improve data processing efficiency, such as automating manual processes and optimizing existing workflows.
      • Work to scale data systems to handle larger datasets and increased processing demands.
    7. Reporting & Documentation:
      • Provide regular updates and reports on data pipeline status, performance, and any issues.
      • Create and maintain documentation for data systems, processes, and troubleshooting guidelines.
    8. Learning & Growth:
      • Continuously expand your knowledge of emerging technologies in data engineering, big data platforms, and cloud computing.
      • Take part in code reviews, workshops, and training sessions to develop your technical skills.
