You will need to guide and inspire the team and be responsible for design, development and delivery and oversee the complete SDLC.Provide architectural and big - picture oversight for development of client implementations on the Demandware platformProvide analysis and recommendations on the design of ecommerce systems, while integrating components built by developers and ensuring architectural integrity of the systemArchitect, design and document integrations in collaboration with clients on solutions that support industry leading best practices in technology, features, performance and scalabilityCollaborate with engineering, product management, and client services architects on the design of new and innovative solutions and integrations to the Demandware platformProvide technical problem resolution to complex issues which can come from clients who are piloting or implementing new solutions, or internal teamsDevelopment of new pluginsAdvanced performance optimization for high traffic environment.Build API s that will integrate with all majors ERP, CRM and other systems.Exposure to large projects for enterprise clients.Involve in next generation technology solutions like AngularJS, RequireJS, Cassandra, MongoDB, NodeJS, NGiNX, Redis, Yii, Lithium and more.Become a mentor and also be a learner amongst a high caliber team.Liaise and interface with clients & stakeholdersDocument technical and functional specificationsProvide technical consultancy services to stakeholders & clientsLiaise with IT and Systems departments to put best practice, UAT and platform appraisal processes into place.Ensure that we meet commercial go - live deadlinesMentor to junior developersEnterprise level experience of OOP with PHP, MySQL, and SVN, on various platforms.Standards compliant HTML, HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery) and XML.Experience in building themes, plugins etc. for various Open source technologiesConfident building user interfaces from PSD files and wireframes for functional specification.,
