Job Description

    Deputy CFO - Finance & Accounts is expected to possess high level of financial knowledge, prepare financial statements, reports, financial analysis and importantly a good team player. The incumbent is expected to possess skills relating to prepare documents for debt and equity funding. He/She must possess excellent communication and relationship skills and should maintain a cordial and healthy relationship with auditors, bankers and regulators. Should have a keen eye for details and assist the Management to formulate strategy and drive the finance function. Should ensure regulatory and statutory compliance, robust auditing and internal control. He/She should guide and coach team as necessary and make them achieve expertise in their areas of operations. Job Description The incumbent would be core part of finance and accounts function and would be responsible for the following:- Ensured compliance of Accounting Standards and Companies Act Provisions.- Ensure smooth closure of statutory audit without any adverse comments- Finalization of Accounts and preparing financial statements.- Carried Tax Audits as per Income Tax Act.- Ensure proper conduct of internal audit as per the planned internal audit program and ensure that the findings are placed before the board and also implement the findings of the internal audit.- Support smooth conduct of all statutory meeting.- Collaborate across the functions and work towards accounting policies and procedure enhancements - Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the Management and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.- Engage the board finance, audit, and investment committees around issues, trends, and changes in the operating model(s) and operational delivery.- Oversee financing strategies and activities, as well as banking relationships. - Develop and utilize forward-looking, predictive models and activity-based financial analyses to provide insight into the organizations operations and business plans.- Participate in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating model and operational execution.- To monitor the funds required on a daily basis and ensure surplus funds are invested based on the investment policy approved by the Board.- To monitor the statement of dynamic liquidity on a monthly basis which will set out the fund requirement for the next 6 months and ensure that the funds that are required are made available.- To monitor the cost of funds on a monthly basis and to give inputs on the interest rate to be charged to the customers.- To ensure smooth conduct of NHB Inspection both regulatory and Credit inspectionShould be a Chartered Accountant and certified by ICAI Prior Work Experience of 15+ years (Preferably NBFC /HFC/ Finance sector) Proficiency in MS Office.Knowledge in accounting softwares.Can easily adapt to any software or any computerized environment. Knowledge of Tamil is mandatory. Qualification - CA - (Mandatory) Compensation - 40 to 50 Lacs,
