Job Description

  • The candidate will be expected to run the operational areas on a day to day basis for team of 100 to 150 FTE
  • The Candidate will be expected to work closely with BSO Business Unit Head and Managers within BSO as well across Securities Services locations to support ops transformation and business growth
  • The candidate will also be actively involved in supporting the Head of BSO in the Process Owner role of Corp Actions and Proxy Voting
  • The role requires very strong Organisational and People Management skills
  • Solid technical understanding of Corp Actions, Settlement, Cash, Proxy Voting functions is expected.
  • Previous experience of running Operational area on an International basis is essential.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous process improvement is required.
ResponsibilitiesDirect Responsibilities
  • Develop strong working relationships with a network of counterparts in other Securities Services Locations and senior Management.
  • Actviely work with the Head of BSO in finalising the Budget and the strict adhenrence to the budget
  • Actively support the Global Porcess owner in th Corporate Actions and Proxy Voting and involve in designing a Target operting Model
  • Ensure high level of communication network is established will all the departments within the business group.
  • Ensure that, client issues/concerns are addressed and resolved within the agreed timelines.
  • Ensure high level of service has been delivered to the Clients of BNP Paribas Group.
  • Ensure all the deliverables of the process are met and maintained as per the service agreement.
  • Defining the Key Performance Indicators for the process and achieving the same on a regular basis.
  • Ensuring the delivery of quality services to clients with consistent green KPIs
  • Manage and reduce operational risk and error costs.
  • Continue to develop a strong layer of Middle management and succession planning.
  • To work closely with the Business head in the budgeting exercise.
  • Ensure to hire quality resources also keeping in mind the gender ratio and keep attrition levels at low.
  • Prioritise the work and conduct investigation with due diligence on all the discrepancies.
  • Manage staff to take corrective measures/actions.
  • Delegating the tasks to the Senior Managers and other team members.
  • Ensure all the necessary training is been provided to the team members to perform the relevant tasks.
  • Ensure that, the Back-up management tool is in place for all the team members.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
  • Prior work experience of at least 15 years+ in Custody Domain and Client Management
  • End to End exposure in Corporate Actions, Proxy Voting, Cash and Settlement process.
  • Business Migration Expertise
  • Must have handled Business Continuity Exercises
  • Reources Hiring and Training Skill
  • Internal and External Audit Management
  • Re-engneering of Legacy Processes
