Job Description

This exciting role offers opportunity to:

  • Service and customer support function is the eye and ears of organization and in-turns product as well
  • This position is front end position to support customers like Ashok Leyland & Mahindra
  • This position will ensure customer complaint handling and field issues resolutions in South Region
  • Support to the OEMs channel from service point of view
  • Co-ordinate with customer for warranty adjudication and customer s assembly product line rejections
  • Work closely with Quality, Engineering and assembly plant
  • Keeping track of customer complaint log and focus on closer of complaints within stipulated time frame
  • To ensure for maintaining complaint and closure of field issues within stipulated time
  • Leading and Co-coordinating the activities related to specific quality issue, analysis and resolution
  • Co-ordination with Customer and Eaton plant and Engineering related to quality issues
  • Joint investigation in the field on customer complaint and report out accordingly
  • Establish connects with end customers like fleet owners, key customers & technical associates
  • Visiting to customer sites for understanding product performance & customer needs
  • Co-ordination with Quality team & Engineering team, Warranty & 8D reports to update Customer for the status of field failure warranty claim
  • Interaction with Finance/Logistics team for the financial transactions like issuing Credit note, claims settlement of Eaton Dealers
  • Involve in the various field trial at customer & OEM end
  • Conducting Product Training Session for field with support from head office
  • Closely interact with Eaton Authorized Service Centre to support field
  • Conduct Quality Forum (QFM) Meeting with Ashok Leyland for customer issues (Product & field support related)
Qualifications
  • 6-10 Years of Experience
  • Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical/Production/Automobile
  • Travelling involved 15-20 days per month
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • First time right approach
  • Overall truck knowledge / overview would be added advantage
  • Besides technical capabilities this function calls for very high level of interpersonal skills, as it requires interfacing within the customer organization and internally. Strong communication skills are a must while ensuring the highest standards of ethics, integrity and credibility in all communications.
  • The person should get involved in all the technical activities like analysis of the products, disassembly and assembly of the products and measurement analysis.
  • Excellent starting position to learn Truck product lines and establish relationships across the organization.
  • Good command of the Tamil / Hindi / English languages.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to use diplomacy
