Job Description

    1. Design Engineer [DE] is responsible for Design activities of his respective projects which is designated during the KOM and to ensure that all the project specific and critical points are covered
    2. DM is responsible to achieve and maintain his department objectives within the target limits as indicated
    3. DM is the key person to identify and analyze the Risk and its opportunities along with his Design Engineer[DE] which are relevant to his own department
    4. Adapting and implementing the Quality Management System, participation in internal and External audits and maintaining records as per QMS requirements.
    5. Participate in kickoff meetings and provide continual input to optimize design and improve the work efficiency.
    6. Participating in the design review with other department Heads such as PM/PE, PRM & QM
    7. Delivering the Design deliverable on time without multiple revisions and the document should be 1st time right.
    8. Provide design and development of new products for the project.
    9. Resolve problems and improve the design activity working with PE for the exact requirement.
    10. Develop and recommend changes if any for manufacturing processes
    11. Reduce design cost and improve design performance working with other groups on value engineering initiatives.
    12. Prepare engineering drawings.
    13. Upgrade product and reduce service failures and cost.
    14. Provide technical guidance to management if required.
    15. Identify and procure appropriate process equipment.
    16. Record design details of small and large projects.
    17. Assist technically internal and external customers.
    18. Demanding clarifications from the internal customer[PM/PE] and the DM.
    19. Prepare the check list on the delivery documents and verify with DM.
    20. Relevant Makes and Model must be marked and Indicated in the BOM in the layout drawing as per the sales Quote and IO allocation and power calculation
    21. To review all the relevant inputs & Raise the clarification with our internal & External customer
    22. Schedule should be correctly managed to meet the completion and delivery of documents on time
