Job Description

    Desktop Support EngineerExp- 2 to 4 yrsLocation- ChennaiNp- 15days to ImmediateDesktop Support Serviceso Install desktop OS, messaging client, applications such as Adobe Acrobat, WinZip, WinRAR, and any business application as per customers software deployment policy, and add or remove accessories, peripherals or mobile devices and configure PCso Configure the desktops using tools as defined in Schedule A Solution Baselineso Troubleshoot and resolve desktop incidentso Manage disk and folder sharing, and permission settings on desktopso Handle printer problems at users desktopso Assist users in accessing applicationso Preventive and rectification action as per customer endpoint security policy.o First level service for audio-video equipment where ever remote resources are deployedo First level troubleshooting of desktop LAN related issueso Extension of LAN using extended patch cords or small switches.o Printer configuration support on Desktops/Laptops.o IT clinic to be conducted on quarterly basis to fix laptop/mobile device related issueso Month end support during the last 3 days of the month and first day of following month for extended hours
