• CDW Application will be built newly with the all the CDW specific functionalities in a new warehouse CCIB ETL.
• We are looking for a development manager who is very sound knowledge on products of the CDW/capital-regulatory financial functionalities at the core level as below so that the same can be redesigned in a way which is more robust and smart -

  • Nostro Pooling
  • LME Netting
  • Pooling
  • Amortization Swap
  • Unperfected Guarantee
  • Unperfected/Partially Perfected Collateral

  • Precious Metal
  • Wacg , CVA Hedge
• Should be sound in datastage as well as Hadoop /scala/python/scripting/control M/ unix/db2 etc.
• Should be able to contribute from day 1 being a strategic project with tight timelines.
• Develop a long-term technology road map.
• Rich product Knowledge of Credit Risk WB and SME
• Strong project management skills design, fine-tune, and make recommendation to existing and new solutions
• Design metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the programs and continue to fine-tune and improve to ensure the best practice is delivered
• Performs data modeling and ETL, metadata management & looks after data quality
• Investigate optimal development solutions and work closely with developers to implement the best technical design and approach
• Managing and executing against project plans and delivery commitments
• Managing the day-to-day activities of the development team within an Agile/Scrum environment
• Working closely with the Program Manager and other stakeholders to develop project plans, and participates in resource priority planning
• Developing, evaluating, and implementing improved processes, methods and tools to continually improve software delivery effectiveness
• Mastery of the tools with sound experience in datastage and experience in programming of Hadoop /scala/python/scripting/control M/ unix/db2 etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
• Triage technical issues and lead teams toward solving problems
• Part of the Group s Chief Data Officer(CDO) Information Management Team. Design and develop quality DataStage jobs for the CDW application
• Interact with the BA team on understanding the requirements and involve in the design process
• Interact with the GTM team on the testing scope and data and support throughout the SIT / UAT stages
• Automate the manual process wherever possible
• Work closely with the Technology support teams to influence and resolve the issues which are impacting the Scorecard generation
• Ensure compliance of regulations, policies and requirements of the In-Scope countries

Our Ideal CandidateSkills Required:

• IBM DataStage v11.5,IBM DB2,Oracle, Control M, Shell Scripting

Role Specific:

• Experience in Data warehousing, Structured Query language concepts Must
• Experience in design and development of Data marts & Data warehousing projects Must
• Experience in Banking Domain & Banking Data Models - preferred

Technical Skills:

• Experience in SQL/PL SQL - Must
• Worked in Unix/Linux environment Must
• Experience in Data Warehousing environments - Datastage - Must
• Good working knowledge in Excel would be an added advantage Preferred
• Basic Java skills - Preferred
• Experience in Open source ETL tools - Preferred
• Basic knowledge in Agile methodologies, JIRA Preferred

Other Skills:

• Should be able to work Independently and possess leadership skills
• Should exhibit logical and analytical thinking and able to provide solutions
• Understand the Functional specifications & application end to end and design / develop the Datastage jobs based on the impact analysis
• Should prepare the documentations linked to the development activities time to time
• Should involve in the change management activities covering the SDLC process
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills with an ability to formulate and communicate strategies in a clear and compelling way
• Self driven and proactive in reaching out to multiple stakeholders
• Must be a smart worker rather than a hard worker
• Must be able to support during weekends during the implementation process & Critical issues in production
• Overall Experience: 9-10 years
