Job Description

Digital Marketing Specialist

This position plans and executes digital marketing strategy, including web ads, SEO/SEM, PPC, social media, display advertising, and website updates, functionality, features, and data gathering. This position assists in maintaining our social media presence across all digital channels, measuring, analyzing, and acting on performance of strategies.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Develop and implement SEO and PPC strategies
  • Use Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and other relevant sites.
  • Develop and participate in projects, including delegating tasks, reviewing team member work, adhering closely to deadlines and to budget, developing and revising ideas, and implementing projects.
  • Keep abreast of new social media sites, web technologies, and digital marketing trends; implement these new technologies in developing campaigns and update current campaigns to include new information
  • Track the implementation of plans developed; analyze, report, and act on data collected
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to assist in evaluating end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Tracks key campaign metrics such as Deliverability, Open Rate, Opt-out, Clicks, and others by creating various segments and establishing benchmarks
  • Monitors effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs; and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns
  • Initiates regular auditing and improvement of website functionality, links, ADA compliance, searchability, and website features backlog
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of SEO algorithms and makes necessary changes to websites for optimization
  • Helps maintain asset management system for all digital assets utilized on website
  • Maintains digital marketing procedures/processes and ensures compliance with digital marketing regulations including customer privacy, spam, and data management
  • Conceptualizes the opportunities/uses of new technology within the context of business and member needs and translates ideas into actions
  • Provides ongoing status reports
  • Assists in evaluating campaign ROI for marketing and membership strategy
  • Creates, analyzes, segments, and maintains multiple target lists
  • Segments lists of members and partners into appropriate groupings
  • Works with IT to keep target lists clean by removing duplicates and maintaining current contact and demographic information
  • Manages and updates applications, functionality, and digital platforms in partnership with IT developer
  • Implements continuous improvement in SEO strategies ensuring content is optimized for processing time and impact
