The Director/Sr Director - ML AI will be responsible for building and leading a team of talented Data/Speech/NLP Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers and drive cutting-edge research in Core Speech Tech and NLP/NLG. He or she should be passionate about pushing the boundaries of machine interpretation and understanding of human speech/conversations. Key Responsibilities and Expectations from this role, Lead Data Science Speech, NLP Tech and AI/ML Research Development, o Speech Tech : ASR (Speech Recognition), TTS(Text to Speech), Emotion Recognition, Audio enhancements, Speaker separation/diarization, Speaker Identification, Voice Biometrics etc o NLP Tech : Conversational NLU, NLG, Call Summarization, Sentiment Analysis, Unsupervised Conversation/Dialog Analysis etc o Products AI Strategy : Drive AI strategy w.r.t our Products and Solutions Smart automated configurations and root-cause analysis/insights, Predictive Analytics, Anomaly Detection, Customer Profiling/Segmentation, Customer Journey Analytics etc Build Lead a solid, distributed team of Speech, Data and NLP Scientists and ML Engineers in India to achieve the Organization and Function objectives related to Core Tech, IP AI. Will manage Hiring People Development. Plan, Manage and Drive Short/Medium/Long-Term goals and deliverables from the team in alignment with the overall Product Strategy and Roadmap. Foster Innovation, Cutting-edge Research and Grow IP and Patent portfolio for Uniphore Partner with Product Management and Product Engineering for overall Product Solutions Roadmap alignment and integrations. Should be the Core Tech and AI Evangelist, Thought Leader both Internally as well as Externally o Network, Participate and Speak about Uniphore s Core Tech AI initiatives at Key Industry Events and Forums o Drive Core Tech and AI Evangelism within Uniphore across Product, Delivery, Sales, Marketing and Pre-Sales o Create and Publish Research Papers, Whitepapers, Blogs on popular mediums. o Partner with Academia regarding Speech, AI and NLP research. Qualifications and Eligibility, Should have a Master s Degree (MS/ME/MTech). Phd is desirable. 10 years of Research and Industry experience in Speech, NL or Data Science, ML DL Should have managed a team of 10 Research and Data Scientists/Engineers Solid Hands-on experience in two or more of the following areas: ASR, NLP, NLG, Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Cognitive Behavioral Sciences You should have a history of tying activities and deliverables to business outcomes that impact the organization as well as customers ,
