Job Description

Responsible for Overall, IT functions including Data Center, Service Operation, and IT security, Network management including Plant and 90+ Dealer locations across PAN India, Project management, VC management in the facility and IT Process and governance.Responsible for the managing IT Infrastructure at Truck, Bus Plant , City office, ODC office, RO office across India and dealer locations.Responsible for managing the helpdesk operation for 5000+ user base and asset management.Responsible for leading all the small and big projects inside the plant and in PAN India.Responsible for the handling two datacenter inside plant and ensuring 99.9 % availability.Responsible for the Plant Infra operation supporting production process and ensuring 99.9 % availabilityBusiness enabling: Contribute to strategic discussions concerning IT and evaluate alternatives, participate in development of ideas for the progress of business with strong IT-connection.IT strategy: Execute regional IT strategy based on local and global IT strategy. Ensure that the needs and demands of the business are met. Define and manage the IT Landscape for the and set up an IT roadmap in the markets based on the central, regional and local demands accordingly.Financial management: Manage balance between cost optimization/reduction, fulfilment of business requirements and business risk exposure.Ensure achievement of financial objectives, adherence to Management targets in full collaboration with controlling responsible.Ensure that central and local demands are met in a cost-optimal way by implementing local and central solutions.Personnel management: Establish and manage the IT organizations for the business areas and define a blueprint for roles and responsibilities.Contribute to Set up an environment of leadership (LS2020) based on the Daimler values.Lead problem solving and resolve conflicting situations with Head of IT and peer leaders.Demand management, IT-Project and Portfolio management:Develop, steer and supervise the portfolio of IT projects to develop new systems and enhance/Optimize existing system landscapes in the markets/clusters, according to the IT strategy and Daimler standards.Monitor report and track all local IT project portfolios. Provide local support to integrate into the existing local applications landscape and IT infrastructure projects.As a local Business service manager, he/ she should be responsible to steer the projects in co-ordination with business stakeholders and manage the decision based on the requirements.Sourcing and Supplier management:Implement IT sourcing strategy for the appropriate supported systems and services. Manage choice of strategic local suppliers within the International Procurement strategy and ensure agreed standards are adhered accordingly.Information Security and Data Protection, risk management and compliance: Supervise the role of the Local Information Security Officer (LISO). Supervise the implementation, execution and monitoring of the IT Security concepts based on IT standardsSpecific knowledge:Knowledge on Server environments, Windows, Networking, IT security, Process, Automation.Should have lead major projects, Working experience on intercultural projects, Strong leadership capabilities required, High degree of customer orientation, Team spirit and motivation, Self-initiative, High flexibility in working schedule, High reliability in delivering results.Education: Higher technical education at the field of information technologies or similarWorking Experience:Minimum 10-15 years of business experience in IT (plan/build/run).Minimum of 5 years of Leadership experience managing teams and Management experience in IT (Strategy development, financial planning and controlling). Leadership experience in international c ontext and distributed working teams is an advantage.Language skills:Fluent English skills, Ability to perform written and oral communication in English.,
