Mission
Describe the principal mission of the position
Run Electromagnetic simulations in order to design and validate motor(DC or Brushless) upon internal and/or external customer requests
Responsibilities
Highlight the main responsibilities
Run Electromagnetic simulation upon internal and/or external customer requests, in particular is able to calculate : torque, losses, forces,flux density,cogging,ripple,Hall effect sensor position angular error .
To propose the best design of each part of the motor(Blower motor) using Electromagnetic Simulation tool.
Magnets, Carbon brushes, Commutator, Lamination , Insulation
Criteria for optimization : cost, weight, heating, noise, manufacturability, packaging.
To document FEA/Analytical model results and recommend design changes, required tests, further analysis, etc
To support modeling results correlation versus experimental results
Manage the input data needed and deliveries in accordance with standard
To work on optimisation tools and Matlab
To define, with the m tier motor team, mainly with Test-Prototype engineer, the DOE, to optimize the component/function.
