This exciting role offers opportunity to:
• Candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and testing of our core powertrain software.
• When new boards are released, you d take on the task of board bring up, aided by a schematic, oscilloscope, serial port, and debugger
• Embedded SW development and testing
• Should have a regular interaction with Hardware engineers for better understanding of the requirement
• Supporting to sustenance project activities to improve / modify the existing SW
QualificationsRequirement :
• Bachelor of Engineering- Electronics
• Experience of 3 - 5 years
• Familiar with Embedded software development in Verilog/VHDL
• Hands on experience in CPLD & FPGA based development & Gate optimizations. Tape-out is not mandatory.
• Exposure to 8-bit and 16-bit processors including ARM processor will be added advantage.
• Good board bring up and debugging skills with JTAG interfaces
• Good in communication protocols like UART / I2C etc.
• Experience in interfaces like SPI, RS232 / UART, Digital I/O, Analog I/O etc.
• Designing and understanding software architectures and application layers
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to identify and escalate issues for timely resolution
• Goal oriented and ability to work with cross functional teams
• Possesses good amount of experience on firmware development and integration testing
• Good report and documentation writing skills
