Job Description

    Business Unit: IDC CorporateReporting to: ManagerAge: 24 to 30 Knowledge of gear design, gear profile optimization and gear tribology. Sound Knowledge in bevel gear pair design, Macro & micro geometry optimization with LTCA Knowledge in Bevel gear manufacturing process Knowledge on gear standards ISO/DIN/AGMA etc.,. Knowledge of DFMEA and gearbox design. Knowledge of gear and gearbox testing methodology. Knowledge of gearbox simulation system level calculation using KISSsoft/KISSsys/ROMAX. Knowledge of gear failure analysis root cause analysis. Knowledge of gear manufacturing process like Hobbing, Shaving, Shaping, Milling, Gear grinding etc.,. Knowledge of heat treatment process for gears Selection of material for gears, shafts and selection of bearings, oil seals etc. Knowledge of tooth contact analysis for cylindrical gear pairs and planetary stage design Key Skills: Bevel gear pair design Gear design, Macro & micro geometry optimization with LTCA Knowledge in Gear standards (ISO/AGMA/DIN), Hands on experience KISSSOFT, KISSSYS, ROMAX Location: Chennai, Pune Required Experience: 6-10 yrs,
