Job Description

  • Conduct Fuel economy test at each stage of vehicle development in comparison to benchmark vehicles and provide a detailed analysis on the areas of improvement.
  • Evaluate impact of auxiliary loads and thermal impact on fuel economy.
  • Analyse Real world user profile (RWUP) for cycle condensation and to provide feedbacks to internal and external customers for FE issues
  • Publish fuel economy reports and participate in reviews with powertrain teams.
  • Explore new methodologies/test equipment for fuel economy as part of capability building.
  • Knowledge of fuel economy and emission testing on chassis dyno.
  • Exposure to vehicle drivability evaluation and engine calibration as an add-on skill set is desirable Job Requirements Experience (years) 2 to 4 years of relevant experience Industry Preferred Automobile, Tier 1 suppliers Qualification B.E/B. Tech/ME/M. Tech Personality Traits Competencies 1) Excellent Analytical ability

  • Sound knowledge on fuel economy measurement devices and principle of working.
  • Good knowledge of automotive powertrain & vehicle performance.
  • Hands on experience in powertrain,chassis dyno testing for exhaust emission measurements preferred.
  • Good knowledge of data analysis fundamentals & hands on exprerience with Excel, Matlab.
  • Knowledge of Data acquisiontion instrumentation & softwares like INCA, Ipetronik.
  • Expertise in vehicle driving and performance evaluation (driveability, coast down etc.) Names of Companies from where we can get this talent . Any automotive company.
