Job Description

    We are looking for a driven and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Integrations & Platform team. This is a player-coach role where you will own the end-to-end delivery of customer integrations, data pipelines (Snowflake/ELT), and identity/onboarding solutions (Azure AD/Okta). You will set the technical strategy, enforce SOC 2-aligned processes, and improve delivery predictability through DORA metrics, while remaining hands-on (3050% of your time coding).Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Team Development
    • Hire, coach, and mentor a team of 48 engineers (Integration, Platform, and CS-facing).
    • Drive agile best practices and ensure crisp execution of engineering processes.
    • Set individual growth plans, conduct 1:1s, and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
    Technical Ownership & Delivery
    • Define and own integration and data pipeline architectures (webhooks, queues, retries, CDC/ELT).
    • Design scalable, idempotent, and replayable solutions following Enterprise Integration Patterns.
    • Lead projects through full lifecycle: discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
    • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with automated quality gates.
    Hands-On Development
    • Implement integrations, connectors, data transforms, and observability features using Python, TypeScript, and SQL.
    • Build and maintain structured logging, alerts, and dashboards.
    • Develop multi-tenant onboarding solutions and SSO integrations (OIDC, SAML).
    Security, Compliance & Process Discipline
    • Enforce SOC 2-aligned SDLC practices: change control, artifact tracking, approval workflows, rollback plans.
    • Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams during audits and reviews.
    Collaboration with Customer Success
    • Maintain a shared plan-of-record (Jira) for visibility across teams.
    • Provide UAT scripts, cutover/rollback runbooks, and training to Customer Success.
    • Prevent surprise escalations through regular syncs and transparency.
    What We Expect:Minimum Qualifications:
    • 710 years in software engineering, including 24 years leading engineering teams.
    • Strong hands-on coding experience in Python, TypeScript, SQL, REST APIs, JSON.
    • Expertise in Snowflake or similar data warehouses, ELT/CDC pipelines.
    • Proven track record delivering enterprise integrations (e.g., Salesforce, Yardi, MRI).
    • Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on improving DORA metrics.
    • Solid understanding of SOC 2, SDLC, and change control processes.
    Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
    • Experience with Azure AD/Okta for identity federation and multi-tenant SaaS onboarding.
    • Working knowledge of messaging systems such as SQS or Kafka.
    • Designing idempotent, replayable pipelines and robust error handling.
