Work with Design Engineer, Project Engineer and Project Manager on required tasks.
Serves as subject matter expert (SME).Work with enterprise security device vendors to resolve complex incidents.
Give presentations via training sessions.Use vendor provided tools, log files, Verizon provided tools/scripts.
Attendance on incident calls, update process documents, provide peer-to-peer training and interaction with high level Verizon and customer managers.
Change Management participation.
Assist other Tier2 engineers in complex tasks. Perform monthly checks of device operations.
Create, distribute, analyze and evaluate network management performance reports.
Create and present Root Cause Analysis (RCA) document when requested.
Participate in the Capacity Management process. Participate in audit and compliance assessments performed internally.
What we re looking for :
You ll need to have:
Bachelors degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience. Experience working in 24x7 centers in complex environments.
Knowledge of networking technologies.
Knowledge of firewall functionality (Palo Alto, CISCO ASA, Fortinet).
Knowledge of Global/Local load balancing devices (F5, Netscaler Cisco).
Knowledge of Cisco ISE devices.
Knowledge of NetScaler VPN devices. Knowledge of Caching/Proxy/AV devices (Bluecoat, Cisco, ZScaler, NetCache, etc.).
Knowledge of VPN, SSL,IPS/IDS devices. Knowledge of Enterprise Management tools.
