Job Description

What you ll be doing.As a Engr II-Software Development in Network Systems

  • Translate user requirements and develop end to end applications.
  • Working on medium to complex applications on Java technologies. Should strong in Core Java , JUnit, Design Patterns, Devops.
  • Work with business users / SMEs in other parts of the team.
  • Build applications by follows coding standards, builds appropriate unit tests, integration tests, and deployment scripts.
  • Collaborate with leads to explore existing systems, determine areas of complexity, potential risks to successful implementation, learn the applications capabilities.
  • Takes ownership of the tasks assigned and is able to execute it in agile and ambiguous environment.
  • Contributes to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface, software architecture or new technologies.
What we re looking for.Youll need to have:
  • Bachelor s degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • Experience in working as Core Java and relevant technologies.
  • Strong database querying skills using advanced SQL/procedures on postgress/ Oracle.
  • Strong knowledge on SDLC life cycle.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to drive discussions with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to review the tools to improve the delivery process with focus on time delivery andquality.
  • Ability to develop and maintain technology road maps.
Even better if you have
  • A degree.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience working on agile projects and is well aware of the agile practices and tools used in the development (Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Ability to be a hands-on contributor to the architecture, design & development of the projects.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills Ability to clearly articulate and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in agile ambiguous environment and can effectively juggle between competing priorities
  • Willingness to go the extra mile proactively with minimal assistance.
