Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Well versed with project and program management (initiation, monitoring, stakeholders management, quality, engineering oversight, financials and risks/issues).
  • Adaptive to learn new technologies.
  • Ensure that applications meet their required service levels.
  • Identify system bottlenecks and opportunities for process improvements
  • Works to align best practices across the teams.
  • Serves as an escalation point for all development issues.
  • Helps define development processes and ensures that teams are following documented processes to resolve issues.
  • Helps define reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs). Routinely reviews results and develops action items to improve team performance against KPIs.
  • Ensures that best practices are in place and that root cause is found wherever possible.
  • Understand the customer requirements, participate in proposals, requirement and design workshops to understand the requirements, prepare solution proposals and work order. Project Management - Work with the development and test teams to design, develop, test and implement the applications meeting the customer requirements.
  • Strong planning, organizational, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong understanding of Application Monitoring practices with ability to identify areas of improvement and suggest solutions
  • Manages the IT support schedule to ensure adequate coverage of support and batch runs for every day of the year.
  • Seek out industry trends and organization knowledge to understand alternative approaches / solutions.
