A. Key Deliverables for the role To ensure good standard of medical care - preventive, curative and promotive. To ensure compliance with statutory regulations and maintain the required records. B. Roles & Key Responsibilities 1. To handle first aid and emergency services arising in case of accident, sickness etc. 2. To take care of the pre-employment medical examination and periodical medical examinations for employees and contractors. 3. Conduct periodic health awareness programmes, Organize training on First Aid, General health and hygiene. 4. Liaison with hospitals and specialists and provide referral and consultation to employees. 5. Associate with Safety committee, TPM, OHSAS etc. and provide suggestions to improve the overall occupational health and hygiene. 6. Conduct periodical medical examinations as per the section 64(0) for employees working in processes like, Chromium plating, Aluminum forging, Paint shop, Shot blasting, HT presses etc. 7. Responsible for overall smooth functioning of the Occupational health Centre. Conduct food hygiene audit yearly twice in coordination with SMF. 8. Keep track of the employees medical records and provide suggestions periodically. Maintain a track of the monthly medicines stock procurement. 9. To provide guidance to employees on employee medical insurance claims as per the mediclaim policy. 10. Maintain appropriate registers as per the requirements of the Factories Act. JOB DESCRIPTION C. Key Personal Skills Required 01: Full time MBBS qualification as per IMC Act -1956) and registration at state medical council or medical council of India. 02: Should possess diploma in Industrial health or equivalent (Associate Fellow of Industrial Health (AFIH) 03. Three months full time certificate course in industrial hygiene from Regional Labour institute(RLI) D.
