Job Description

    The CNS Cloud & Cognitive business unit supports and operates communication service providers (CSP) and enterprise networks. This includes network infrastructure services and professional services for mobile networks and managed operations for fixed, mobile, IP and optical domains. This team is the bridge between business development, presales, solutioning and delivery teams and helps in deal management/assurance of most crucial deals for CNS Cloud and Cognitive (CCS) business unit.As part IN-VAS team, we manage legacy SMSC, MMSC, Voicemail server, IN nodes to latest MCO, IOT and API Gateways. What you will learn and contribute to
    • Fault & Configuration Management for Cloud.
    Are you passionate about solving problems As a part of the team, you will
    • End to end architectural know how on Openstack components (RHEL host OS & Linux components (ovs))
    • System Administration of Linux ubuntu/VMware environment
    • Redhat 7, any one of the cloud technologies (OpenStack, Azure, AWS)
    • Basic knowledge of handling physical connectivity / switching.
    • NFV and Mano architecture,Neutron(network), SDN and VLAN and overlay (VXLAN, MPLSGRE etc.)
    • DC network virtualization based on SDN controllers and virtual switches
    • Tenant virtual network implementation stretching across multiple NFVI, Demonstrated experience in cloud administration in datacenter.
    • Redhat 7, any one of the cloud technology (OpenStack, Azure, AWS) Backup/restore and Upgrade rollback and new VM s creation.
    • Cinder, Ceilometer/Gnocchi/Aodh, Glance, Heat, Horizon, Keystone, Neutron, Nova, Libvirt/KVM, Pacemaker, Rabitt MQ Linux distributions: Ubuntu, Centos, Red hat new installation and trouble shoot.
    • Thorough understanding of Cloud technologies and ecosystem.
    • In-depth understanding of Open Stack Architecture and the components and IaaS (Infrastructure as a service) deployments.
    Your skills and experience You have
    • Understanding of E/// CLOUD NATIVE INFRA SOLUTION architecture and SLX CNIS Switch Control network fabric and Data Fabric architecture.
    • Hands on knowledge on networking concepts for Extreme switches Fabric Automation (EFA).
    • Knowledge on CNIS Cloud Container Distribution , docker and Kubernetes technologies
    • Software Defined Storage (SDS) and Ceph Pools and Placement Groups (PGs),Ingress and Egress Routing / Kubernetes Networking details.
    • E// SDI components and Vpod Concept in details.
    • CNIS E/// EFA connectivity details with data switches
    • L3 control fabric connectivity (L3 handoff) and BGP Peering and ECMP Load balancing in slx SWITCH
    • Awareness of Prometheus, Grafana , ELK Kibana etc
    • Experience on cloud/infra platforms between 4-7 yrs
    • Educational Qualification B.E/B.Tech
    Nice to have
    • Understanding of VMWARE telco cloud Reference architecture
    • VM deployments in VMware and configuration.
    • Experience in vio vSphere Host handling
    • VM decommissioning procedures in VIO
    • Knowledge of VSAN and it s Architecture.
    • Hands-on experience for VMWARE NSX and Troubleshooting Experience.
