Job Description

Field Support EngineerJob Location:Tirunelveli, Trichy and PondyTo provide uninterrupted infra services to operators in cluster by ensuring optimum utilization of resources on 24*7 basis. It involves direction, development and controlling of Vendor staff responsible for site operations.To deliver the sites as per customer requirement within MSA (Post HA to RFAI), Coordination with internal stake holder for material availability, coordinating with TSP for timely delivery. FTR and FAT. Return of SRN material.To supervise and ensure the upkeep of telecom network of the assigned area without any interruption and monitor, evaluate & approve all technical work performed by the Vendor Teams are as per the Standard procedures, process requirements & safety standards. OVERALL JOB PURPOSE STATEMENTTo supervise and ensure the upkeep of telecom network of the assigned area without any interruption and monitor, evaluate & approve all technical work performed by the Vendor Teams are as per the Standard procedures, process requirements & safety standards. In order to achieve the the expected end results, the important activities need to be performed is detailed below (which is not an exclsive list).Where no approval is required

  1. Preventive Maintenance for site operation
  2. Ensuring ESH compliance for TSP/Tower vendors
  3. Escalation of equipment faults to SMEs
  4. Training and Development for OME field staff
  5. Training for TSP
  6. PTW(Permission to Work in Height)
Where no approval is required but you need to keep your manager informed
  • Replacement of consumables to upkeep hygiene, safety and site operations, planning visit/ tours
Where you can approve after taking internal approvals and from whom
  • Issuance of material, approval is taken from CM, ZM and O&M head
  • Approval for Allotment of vendor/PO for repair/installation activities by O&M Head
  • Additional expenses(material shifting in Hilly terrains) by Deployment Head/SCM
  • Changing of TSP on non performing (Deployment/SCM Head)
Who can approve in case you are not authorized to approve
  • O&M head / Deployment Head / SCM Head
