Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Financial Statement Preparation:Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring that they are accurate, compliant with regulations, and reflect the companys true financial position.
    2. General Ledger Management:Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring that all entries are accurate and timely. Maintain proper documentation to support financial reporting and transactions.
    3. Tax Filings:Oversee the tax preparation and filing process, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, and timely submission of tax returns.
    4. Internal Controls:Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard the companys assets and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and financial transactions.
    5. Budgeting & Forecasting:Lead the budgeting process, preparing detailed financial forecasts, conducting variance analysis, and providing insights to management to drive strategic financial planning.
    6. Audit Coordination:Coordinate with both internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and supporting information to ensure smooth audit processes.
    7. Cash Flow Management:Monitor and report on cash flow to ensure that the company maintains sufficient liquidity for operational needs, and assist management with strategic financial planning.
    8. Payroll Oversight:Oversee the payroll processes, ensuring accurate payroll accounting, tax withholdings, and timely disbursements to employees.
    9. Mentoring & Training:Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accountants and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
    10. Regulatory Compliance:Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations, including GAAP, IFRS, and SOX, keeping up to date with relevant changes in laws and standards.
    Key Skills:
    • Financial Reporting: Expertise in preparing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
    • General Ledger Management: Proficiency in managing and reconciling general ledger accounts for accurate financial reporting.
    • Tax Compliance: In-depth knowledge of tax laws, tax preparation, and filing procedures.
    • Internal Controls: Experience in developing and maintaining internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
